Perfect completion of 30 ACRS 2009

The closing ceremony of the 30th ACRS was held at the conference hall, Beijing conference center on October 23, 2009.
The first part was chaired by Prof. Kohei Cho and Prof. Xingfa Gu. Three invited speeches were given by Prof. Bob Ryerson, Prof. Paolo Gamba and Prof. Huadong Guo.
After refreshment, it was the closing ceremony and announcement of ACRS 2010 hoster chaired by Prof. Tong Qingxi. First,Prof.Xingfa Gu reviewed the 30th ACRS,this conference had 708 participants, among them, 597 were foreign guests from 27 countries and regions, 253 oral papers and 103 poster papers were received. Prof. Shunji Murai gave the report of conference. After the conclusion and summary, the organizing committee gave the Best Paper Award to 43 papers, including 9 posters. Then, Prof. Kohei Cho hosted the JSPRS Award, including 3 Best Speakers from the student session, 2 Best Speakers from ordinary session and 1 Best Poster Presentation. In the sponsorship award part, 7 sponsors received the Bronze Medal, 9 received the Silver Medal and 7 received the Gold Medal.
Then, the delegate from Vietnam, where the next ACRS would be hosted, gave an introduction about the 31th ACRS. The 30 ACRS 2009 came to an end in the noon.
